My Pedicurist Outdoes Herself

So this was a good thing -- and AWESOME thing -- in my otherwise Murphy week. Check out these super-elaborate flowers my pedicurist did on my toes:

(I know it's a little hard to see detail even that close up. I also have discovered there's not really any way to crop a picture of toes that doesn't make them look creepy.)

I seriously overtipped.

National Nails, in Northwoods, right by the Smo-King Pit.

Oh, so cute.
I took my daughter (12 years old) to get her first pedicure before vacation and she got cute flowers, too.
They asked me and I said "no, I think I'm too old." I'll have to re-think that stance. (Yes, somehow I'm too old for flowers on my toenails but not for flip flop wearing, t-shirts with sayings, low rise jeans, etc...)

The beauty of pedicures is that you can always wear closed-toe shoes for serious events where blue toenails with flowers on them would be out of place!

Now only if you could enjoy a slab of Smo-King Pit ribs WHILE having your toenails done.......

You know, this is why the rest of the world hates the U.S. We have to invent ways to spend our money, like having someone paint pictures on our toenails. [/tongue-in-cheek]

pfft. My pedicurist is from Vietnam!

Besides, beauty is always its own excuse. ;)

Cute. And because of my vast store of useless trivia knowlege I can also say what kind of flowers are on your toes.

They are Sakura or cherry blossoms.
