Hrm ... More Missing Stuff

The monster in the house is expanding his repetoire: Now my bodkin's gone missing! Does anybody else even know what a bodkin is? What in the world could my house monster want with my bodkin????

A pair of embroidery scissors has also wandered off. Maybe the house monster is taking up medieval crafts or something. I just hope I don't find either with my bare feet!

What is a bodkin? Are you sure the cats aren't playing hide and seek?

It's a long flat needle used for certain kinds of old-fashioned decorative weaving, and more commonly for pulling tapes or drawstrings or things like that through the "tube" they go through.

I thought the bodkin was safe in my sewing box. Sometimes the cats have been known to steal my scissors to play with, but they don't usually hide them so successfully!

Gremlins, definitely. Could be goblins, althouth they're usually more malicious ... or elves, but they're often more helpful. Definitely not trolls ... they'd eat the cats.
